At Sturman and Larkin Ford, our Service Department is committed to servicing your vehicle in the best possible way to give you long term, low cost maintenance.  To help you understand the services available, a service schedule has been prepared according to Ford's recommendations.

Every 3,000 mile interval

• change oil and filter
• Add BG MOA® (Premier Engine Protection)
• Lubricate all fittings
• Lubricate door hinges, locks, and weather strips
• Inspect exhaust system
• Inspect belts and hoses
• Inspect condition of tires and check tire pressure
• Check fluid levels
• Check coolant level in recovery reservoir

• Purge fuel system deposits with BG 44K®
• Lubricate fittings, hinges, locks, and  weather strips

• Check radiator, heater, and A/C hoses for leaks
• Inspect exhaust system
• Check muffler, shields, and clamps
• Inspect belt & hoses
• Inspect front disc brake system and rear brake system
• Adjust parking brake

Inspect all suspension and steering compnents. Inspect tires. Set caster, camber and toe. Center steering wheel and read test.

Includes inspection belts and hoses, charging A/C with freon and oil, disinfecting and deodorizing system.

Engine Tune-up
Replace spark plugs. Inspect air filter, PCV valve, fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor and ignition cables. Install BG 44K® to purge carbon deposits from induction system. (Vans and Platinum plugs extra)

Transmission Service
This service is recommended every 30,000 miles.  Install new oil pan gasket.  Install transmission fluid and BG Transmission Conditioner. Inspect detent and cable and linkages.  Adjust transmission bands. Road test.  (Price may vary slightly with some vehicles)

Throttle Body/De-Carbon
Chemically clean carbon deposits form the upper engine, carburetor, intake manifold, ports and valves.

Cooling System Flush
Chemically flush system. Replace with new antifreeze, long lasting cooling system protectors and anti-seep conditioners.
